Loneliness is like a slow poison,
Seeping down within your bones;
The pain consuming you,
Until your body screams.
Poison is like feeling alone,
It takes root within your mind;
The agony destroys you,
Until your consciousness cries.
To this poison, there is no cure,
And the world just watches you wither;
Your body is growing smaller and smaller,
Until you turn to dust.
For loneliness, there is only depression,
And your friends just watch you sink;
The pity in their eyes growing louder and louder,
Until you are swallowed whole.
